Note:  Volunteers need to submit a form every calendar year in order to be taken into consideration for a role in our league.

In order to become a volunteer for Inwood Little League you will need to complete the following requirements before continuing below:

1. Complete Little League’s Abuse Awareness Training Course.  https://www.littleleague.org/university/articles/abuse-awareness-training-course/ .  This will require you to create an account with Little League University.  Make sure you select Abuse Awareness course when you login for the first time.  The Little League page defaults to another course when you initially login
2. Download certificate once you complete the Abuse Awareness course.
3. Take a photo of your drivers license or government issued identification card.  
4. Fill out online form below attaching both documents in the requested fields.  

Please note a background search will be conducted by a league-approved third party. The information below is managed by the League’s Information Officer and the Executive Vice President. Your information is not shared with any other parties. Once you clear the Background Check, you will be assigned to a team by the League President.

Para convertirse en voluntario de Inwood Little League, deberá cumplir con los siguientes requisitos antes de continuar:

1. Complete el curso de capacitación sobre prevención del abuso de Little League. https://www.littleleague.org/university/articles/abuse-awareness-training-course/. Para ello, deberá crear una cuenta en Little League University.  Asegúrese de seleccionar el curso de Abuse Awareness cuando inicie sesión por primera vez. La página de Little League selecciona otro curso por defecto al iniciar sesión inicialmente.
2. Descargue el certificado una vez que complete el curso de prevención del abuso.
3. Tome una foto de su licencia de conducir o documento de identificación oficial.
4. Complete el formulario en línea a continuación, adjuntando ambos documentos en los campos correspondientes. 

Tenga en cuenta que una empresa externa autorizada por la liga realizará una verificación de antecedentes. La información que proporcione será gestionada por el Oficial de Información y el Vicepresidente Ejecutivo de la liga. Su información no se compartirá con terceros. Una vez que supere la verificación de antecedentes, el Presidente de la liga le asignará un equipo.

AS A CONDITION OF VOLUNTEERING, I give permission for the Little League organization
to conduct background check(s) on me now and as long as I continue to be active with the organization, which may include a review of sex offender registries (some of which contain name only searches which may result in a report being generated that may or
may not be me), child abuse and criminal history records. I understand that, if appointed, my position is conditional upon the league receiving no inappropriate information on my background. I hereby release and agree to hold harmless from liability the local Little League, Little League Baseball, Incorporated, the officers, employees and volunteers thereof, or any other person or organization that may provide such information. I also understand that, regardless of previous appointments, Little League is not obligated to appoint me to a volunteer position. If appointed, I understand that, prior to the expiration of my term, I am subject to suspension by the President and removal by the Board of Directors for violation of Little League policies or principles.
